Otem was created in 1958 as subsidiary firm of the Italian Company leader in the Ice Cream industry. Otem is specialized in the production of ice cream wrappers.
In 1965, Otem designed a semi-automatic feeding system for wrapping machines. Otem enjoys constant growth and this allows wrapping machines to be successfully sold all over the world.
Since 1965, Otem has started to design and build automatic feeding and packaging systems to satisfy the demand of the most diverse industrial concerns. In the seventies and eighties Otem is world leader in the ice cream sector and boasts till today, more than 5.000 units installed all over the world.
Otem’s main offered products are the following:
- Wide range of automatic wrappers, successfully employed for a wide range of different products such as pizzas, chocolate bars/tablets, food products, as well as pharmaceutical products and cosmetics. Such machines represent the best in terms of reliability, high capacity and safety and meet the best standards of quality and hygiene. Size change over procedures are simple and the system can use different types of film and wrapping materials.
- Horizontal multi-lane wrappers, meeting medium and high capacity standards, handling a wide range of different products to be wrapped simultaneously (up to 12- lane solutions are available).
- Vertical Multi-Lane wrappers: consisting of wrapping solutions designed to minimize space and maximize productivity. Otem’s machine are mainly requested for the packaging of bakery products as well as for all the chocolate products.
